EUROPA 2015: Old Toys

INTRODUCTION

On 15 April 2015, the Post Office of Moldova (Poșta Moldovei) issued a series of postage stamps with the title EUROPA 2015: Old Toys. The issue comprises two stamps, with associated cancellation (postmark) and first day cover (FDC). The designer was Iurie Palkov. The printing was performed by Nova Imprim, Chişinău.

ABOUT THE THEME

Europa stamps are special stamps issued by European postal administrations/enterprises under the aegis of PostEurop in which Europe is the central theme. EUROPA stamps underlines cooperation in the posts domain, taking into account promotion of philately. They also build awareness of the common roots, culture and history of Europe and its common goals.
