European Individual Womens Chess Championship, Chişinău

INTRODUCTION

On 10 June 2005, the Post Office of Moldova (Poșta Moldovei) issued a postage stamp with the title European Individual Womens Chess Championship, Chişinău. The issue comprises one stamp, with an associated cancellation (postmark) and first day cover (FDC). The designer was Vitaliu Pogolşa. The printing was performed by Tipografia Centrală, Chişinău.

ABOUT THE THEME

The European Individual Chess Championship is a chess tournament organized by the European Chess Union. It was established in 2000 and has since then taken place on a yearly basis.
